Certainly, with larger homes being built on smaller lots, working within tighter spaces is becoming the norm. Understanding the characteristics of your property is an early step in the design process. On our initial visit, we can determine what the options are for your property.

Yes and remember that the codes are minimum requirements. At Blue Flamingo Pools we frequently exceed codes and accepted building practices.

For example, Blue Flamingo Pools uses 20% more concrete and substantially more reinforcing steel than is required. This creates a permanent and trouble-free pool structure.

Our building plans, specifications and piping schematics are approved by a licensed professional engineer ensuring that only the best methods and materials are being used on your installation.

There are no shortcuts to pool safety. As a three generation family owned company, safety and accident prevention is foremost on our minds. We strongly believe in layers of protection, not just one code compliant safety measure. For example, we ensure that deck materials are slip resistant. We install dual main drains with approved safety covers.

We will not finish your pool until gate latches, fence installation and/or screen enclosures are installed and meet or exceed municipal requirements. Blue Flamingo Pools come with an in-pool child safety alarm.

Your pool structure or tank, sometimes called the shell, is constructed of steel reinforced concrete using the Gunite method of application. Gunite is concrete that is delivered from the truck to the applicator by industrial sized hoses and sprayed on until the desired thickness is reached. Reinforcing steel and concrete complement each other creating a remarkably strong and long lasting product. Gunite pools can be built in any size or shape. Your choice of style is unlimited.

We select your equipment with energy efficiency, optimum performance and crystal clear water quality in mind. We are not limited to a single manufacturer, but rather we buy components from several sources based on durability and suitable application for your pool. When possible, we give preference to “Made in America” suppliers.

Construction of your pool will be scheduled through to completion before the first craftsman arrives. Our project management program allows us to build or remodel your pool in an orderly fashion and with minimal inconvenience to you.
